I spent years being who I thought I “should” be, all while sacrificing myself. It brought me lots of success (including a fancy job title, good money, and a 3.9 GPA), but left me unfulfilled, depressed, and mentally and physically sick. I had to hit rock bottom to discover that I couldn’t keep living this way. So I slowly learned to rediscover myself. And I can say with certainty, it saved my life.
